Due to the ongoing tax pressures on the hospitality industry, we have had to make the difficult decision to reduce our operating costs.

 

Effective Monday 16th March  2026, we will be closing our food service on Mondays and Tuesdays. However, please note the following exceptions:

 

– Holidays: We will remain open every day for food during Bank Holidays, half-term breaks, and the summer holidays.

– Drinks: The pub will remain open after 4.30 PM on Mondays and Tuesdays for drinks.

– Special Events: We will continue to host Uggys Pizza Truck every Monday, our monthly folk music nights (every 1st monday of every month) and other scheduled events.

– Group Bookings: We are happy to open the kitchen on these days for special events or groups of more than 6 people, provided we receive at least 3 days’ notice.

We welcome the Pizza truck from Uggy’s with their delicious wood fire pizzas Every monday from 5pm until 9pm.

 

No need to book a table, just pop in and get your orders with the guys in the truck and enjoy a pizza in the pub, with our great drinks selection, or just to take away, your choice!
